Data we collect and why
Server logs
When you visit this site, our server automatically records your IP address, browser type, language preference, referrer, and request timestamps. This data is used solely for operating and securing the site and is not linked to your identity.
Purchases (WooCommerce)
When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, billing and shipping address, and order details. This data is processed to fulfill your contract with us — to process the order, issue an invoice, and handle returns or queries. Your payment is processed by PayPal or Stripe depending on the method you choose, each operating under their own privacy policy. We do not store payment card details.
Newsletter signup
If you subscribe to our newsletter via a signup form, we collect your email address and store it in our Mautic mailing platform hosted at newsletter.dailybeats.pt. Your data is used only to send you the newsletters you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
Marketing consent at checkout
If you tick the marketing opt-in checkbox during checkout, your purchase information is added to our Mautic platform to send you relevant product updates and offers. This is optional and separate from completing your order. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@dailybeats.pt or using the unsubscribe link in any email.

Cookies
This site uses cookies necessary for the shop to function: session cookies to maintain your cart, and cookies set by PayPal or Stripe during checkout. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
Third parties

- Mautic — our self-hosted newsletter platform at newsletter.dailybeats.pt. Data does not leave our server infrastructure.
We do not sell or share your personal data with any other third parties.
Data retention
Order data is retained for 10 years for tax and legal compliance. Newsletter subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are rotated after 30 days.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact info@dailybeats.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD) at cnpd.pt.
