How To Make a Melodic Beat

Published by Tiago Duarte on

Hi, today I show you how to make a melodic beat. I start to show you the chord progression that I have before starting the video. This chord progression was done with an Electric Piano and it sounds really smooth and melodic. To complement the chord progression, I add a piano and I create a nice melody. I add some cymbals, which I was not a great fan of but I left them as a start and later in the video I re-edit the cymbals. I did not want to add classic drums, so I added some claps and percussion to give some rhythm to the beat. I then add the bass and some strings for the chorus section. I finish the video, by creating an example arrangement and give you some thoughts about making music.

I hope you learn something today and great productions my friend
