Hi, in this video I show you how to make a Gangsta Rap Beat. As you can tell by the thumbnail, this is a nice hard rap beat and the bling tell all about it 😀 I started with some sounds from the MPC Beats plugin. I loaded a couple of sounds and then I sampled some of the sounds that I liked and I did this for several packs. After having a nice foundation with some samples and basic drums, I switched the sound bank in the MPC Beats plugin and loaded a live drum set to reinforce the drums I already had. After that, was time for some bass and some keys to make the track even more hard. The final element were the strings. I loaded several string articulations and created a nice pattern for the chorus. In the next video, I will be showing the mixing process for this beat so stay tuned.
