Hi, in this video I show you how to make a Dreamy Rap Beat. For this one, I used a technique that I would not think of normally. I used the Vocodex with a piano sample to make the dreamy chord progression. Usually, Vocodex is used in vocals but it sounds really good with the piano sample. I then show you the drums and bass. To finish the track, I jammed a nice string melody and added a strummed electric piano to give a different vibe to the start of the second verse. Let me know what you think about the beat.
